The 5.11 Taclite TDU Trousers were developed with feedback from operators working in hot and humid conditions. They keep the full tactical duty uniform specification but build it in Taclite, a lighter polyester-cotton ripstop that breathes better and dries faster than the standard TDU cloth, with a durable water repellent finish to shed moisture and stains.

The relaxed fit and self-adjusting waistband give room to move, while a double-reinforced seat and knees, triple stitching and a high bartack count keep the trousers in service. Roomy cargo pockets carry internal magazine compartments, hidden knee pad pockets accept 5.11 pads, blousing straps tidy the hem over boots, and YKK zips and Prym snaps are used throughout.
