8 inch Over Ankle Boots
Some people need the extra support and protection that only an 8-inch boot can provide. Certain police forces and security positions require them, and each branch of the army does too. Tall 8” boots provide more coverage over your ankle, making them ideal for hiking, where your legs can be exposed. If you’ve ever rolled your ankle, you’ll know the pain it can cause! 8” provide better support than shorter boots, so if you have a habit of rolling your ankles or your job requires a little extra bracing, this is the height to choose. A down side to an 8” boot is restricted airflow, the extra 2” of material can limit the amount of air that flows down to your feet.
These boots are ideal for military, police and private security, as well as some first-responder who need extra support. Long ruck marches in inclement weather, walking up mountains and working outdoors. Army operations require the rock-solid support provided by an 8-inch boot.
