Heat, grit, pressure—bring it on. 5.11’s Speed 4.0 Desert RapiDry™ 8" Boot is built for lightweight speed and all-terrain toughness in hostile climates. A fast-drying microsuede and 1000D nylon upper shrugs off abuse and sheds moisture quickly, while high-abrasion mesh in the tongue keeps air moving when the mercury climbs. Underfoot, a 5.11 Heat Deflect insole layer bounces back ground heat, Force Foam® heel cushioning and an OrthoLite® footbed keep every step dialled in, and a stitched outsole delivers long-haul durability. The ASTM slip- and oil-resistant outsole maintains traction when it counts, and the YKK® side zip with a secure tab makes entry and exit fast and clean. Desert-ready kit for high-tempo ops and hotter days.
