The 6ft Chito-SAM™ 100 is a high performance 100% pure chitosan haemostatic dressing designed to stop lethal bleeding fast. It is easy to use, extremely effective, and safe. Chito-SAM™ 100 works independently of the body’s normal clotting processes. The haemostatic performance is extremely effective compared to products impregnated or coated with chitosan haemostatic agents, because unlike most haemostatic dressings, Chito-SAM™ 100 is made of non-woven, 100% pure, medical grade, chitosan. As a result it achieves haemostasis 3x faster than competitors in in-vitro clotting tests.

Independent tests have shown it to perform 25% better than a leading chitosan gauze thus resulting in less gauze usage to achieve the same haemostatic result. In addition, the unique “tear anywhere” packaging allows quick access to the product for fast application.
