ERGON Variable Geometry Comfort Stretcher

The unique design of the ERGON offers maximum patient comfort with a soft material moulded on a high resistance plastic polymer (HC3-High Comfort Composite Cell). As well as structural stability the material also provides high thermal insulation helping to prevent hypothermia and assist longer patient time on the device.

The ERGON is designed to assist rescuers with handles inclined at 20 degrees and lined with HC3 to ensure the best grip. Special eyelets and pins enable optimal positioning of speed clip straps.

The distance between the break apart halves is just 25mm to provide perfect containment of the spinal column compared to the 80mm gap found on conventional scoop style stretchers. The consequent shape of the larger blade also facilitates a gradual placement between the patient and ground.

The FlexiLock (patent pending) articulated locking device in addition to the standard two half rescue technique also allows unprecedented positioning options where casualties are in awkward and confined positions.
